Parents are an invaluable asset to the school. We have an excellent relationship with parents and try to communicate regularly and effectively with them.
Parents are kept informed of their children’s progress by a number of means. They are invited to Parents evenings, which both parents must attend, as well as receiving termly reports and being able to check the students homework diaries. In addition, parents are sent text messages managed through our School Text System. This enables the school to send reminders or alerts as to upcoming events or last minute changes. This way we ensure parents are completely aware and up to date with what is happening at school.
The school is strict about ensuring both parents are kept informed of their child’s progress. The school works with parents much like a team and parents must contribute towards supporting their child at the school. It is important that our students feel protected and supported by both the school and their parents.
Parents are very welcome to contribute towards the school. Any parent who wishes to work with the school is very welcome to join the PTA. Enhanced security checks are undertaken to ensure at all times the students safety is paramount.
There are a number of Policies to inform parents of the school policies and procedures. Please click on the drop down menu for these Policies.
Parents have access to School Kompanion (KSM Online) where they can log in and access information from home, to keep up to date with their child’s activities and development at school. Homework, attainment, test results, attendance and behaviour are a few of the items parents can access. Please see the ‘School Kompanion’ link in the drop down menu to log in.
